a note from our Founders

Since 2022, we, John Paul Rivard and Rose Sambrano, have been two peas in a pod, bound together by a shared love of all things theater. From the first moment we collaborated, we discovered a rhythm in our partnership, a seamless flow of ideas, creativity, and passion. Theater has always been our river, alive, moving, and full of possibility and together, we decided to create a space where that river could carry bold stories to life.

Moonriver Theatre Company was born from this shared vision: to illuminate intimate stages with performances that resonate, inspire, and linger. Every production we bring to our communities is infused with our love for storytelling, our commitment to artistry, and our belief in the transformative power of live theater.
